Scenario analysis is useful only when the model clearly states what supports the answer. Cortex is designed to connect live context, engineering rules, historical replay and process models while refusing requests that fall outside a defensible basis.

Operational problem

Teams often adjust set-points using experience, spreadsheets or offline analysis. These methods can be effective, but assumptions and operating limits may not be visible to everyone involved in the decision.

Signals and systems

A scenario model can combine process variables, quality outcomes, equipment limits, recipe context, maintenance state and production objectives. The required signals and model depth depend on the process and decision being evaluated.

Delfers architecture

Cortex presents the current operating state, the scenario input, the model basis, the predicted range and the constraints applied. Historical replay and engineering models remain explicitly distinguished.

Human workflow

Operators and engineers review scenario results before any live change. Where write-back is used, the workflow should include authorized roles, allowed bounds, confirmation, audit logging and rollback.

Expected capability and evidence boundary

The design can support safer comparison of alternatives and a more auditable optimization process. Production uplift, quality improvement and cost reduction depend on the model, process and site evidence.
